In case you are a webmaster who has just created a personal website, you may want to add a photo gallery to your site, for making it more beautiful and for attracting more visitors. In this situation, in order to create a great looking gallery, you will need to write a lot of HTML code. But fortunately, there are better ways to create outstanding photo galleries.

One of them is by using VisualLightBox, a Windows program which allows you to build HTML photo galleries in no time, without having to write a single line of code. After installing the application, the first thing to do is to select the photos which will be part of the gallery. Optionally, you can select complete photo folders and you can even import them from Flickr, Photobucket or Picasa.

After the desired photos have been added to the program's interface, the next step is to choose one of the many gallery templates available. When selecting a template, a small preview of it will be displayed in the program's interface, thus allowing the user to select just the right template for a specific website theme.

Besides selecting a template, VisualLightBox also allows the user to choose the resolution of the thumbnails and also select their format, which can be either JPEG or PNG. After all these settings have been configured, the last step in creating the photo gallery is to publish it. As such, the user is able to either publish the gallery in a specified folder, uploading it to FTP, insert it into an existing webpage or even publish it to a Joomla or Wordpress website with minimum effort.
